Looking into my linage I’m a direct descendant of sinoke she is one of my great grandmothers I have my whole family tree done however her mother was named as a Cherokee full blooded line but her name was not mentioned they are part of the file # 1308 where they tried to register and be acknowledged but because they didn’t flee to Oklahoma through the trail of tears and decided to stay in Macon county and surrounding areas they were labeled white instead and rejected because government sucks js. However I know our history is at the geology place in Cherokee and there is evidence of our linage found there and acknowledged to be recognized as Cherokee. I find it fascinating to know the history of my family and how far they came to bear the olds. I’m looking for more information about her and her mother and the wolf clan they came from.
