I am seeking information about the ancestors of my great grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Scott, who was born in Tennessee. In the 1870 Census, he is listed as living in Giles County with his mother, Ann Scott, who was unmarried. He went by the name Frank and is listed on the 1910 Indian Population census in Garvin, Oklahoma. I have not been able to find records for his family that pre-date the 1870 census.
