My Mom’s Dad was believed to either full Cherokee or 1/2 Cherokee from the West Virginia area. His name was Harrison Flagg. Unknown if this was his true name or the “Americanized” version. Per Ancestry.com = Harrison R. Flagg – B: 1885 West Virginia USA. D: 01/17/1966 California. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
