I was always told that Hannus was Native American (Cherokee) he would be my 2nd great grandfather – Hannus Rush born 1899 in South Carolina- 1963 in Lancaster PA
Mother is is Jennie Smokes (born 1877 in south Caroline – 1930 in South Carolina and Father is Andrew Rush (born 1877 in South Carolina-1942 in South Carolina)
