Seriah (Sarah) Elizabeth James
Born around 1812, married James L. Pair about 1827 in Cobb County GA, but may have relatives in South Carolina. Family lore suggests she is full-blooded Cherokee. Any information about her would be greatly appreciated.
Youngbloods?
I am looking for information of Maude Mae Youngblood, my great-great-grandmother. She refused to ever speak of “her people”, for reasons we do not know. Amanda Elrod – Cherokee
Amanda was a daughter of a Cherokee who was prominent and father sold her to William Wesley Kirkland, a Texas Ranger, in Oklahoma for some horses and guns. Her father would not allow them to marry, so William Wesley Kirkland traded for her. They lived in Comanche TX. She is buried in Oakwood Cemetery in
