Seeking information on my great-grandfather William Edward Whitewing. 5/2/1862-9/4/1944. Lived in Heavener, LeFlore County, Oklahoma and/or his daughter (my grandmother) Lela Mae Whitewing (Franklin).

Lela was my Granny Granny (great grandma), Dean was her son, my grandpa. I’m Deana.
I know that we have a cousin, Jimake Whitewing that was putting a family tree together. From what I understand it was to challenge for Tribal admittance.
