Yellow Bear and family

January 5, 2015 by Priscilla 3 Comments

I just found my 6th Great Grandfather Yellow Bear in the 1817 Cherokee Reservation List and I am trying to find the rest of his family’s names. Is there any place that I can go online to find this information?

He was awarded 640 acres along Burning Town Creek in Tennessee.

I am a descendent of the of Yellow Big Bear Qu Sadui, father of Yellow Bear Qu Sadui, father of Yona Eleven Bear Qu Sadui and wife of William Mason.

I can trace the Mason side after that to current day in my line. If I can help with that, let me know.

I would love to know more. I have Cherokee on both sides of my dad’s family. Yellow Bear is from my Dad’s side. I also have Cherokee on my dad’s mom’s side. Johnson, Cantrell, I would like to get some Indian rights, and establish a card. I would like to work with the Tribes. My dads sure names are Wells. Mason, and Riley.
