Hey everyone! I’m trying to find information on my Cherokee side of the family. I was told from a young age that I’m 1/4 Cherokee, but since I’m so light people always make fun of me for mentioning it. Unfortunately, my grandpa’s home was burnt by local thieves after he passed away, so any records we may have had, are lost. He had a long house and prayer garden on his land where the tribe would meet, so I feel like it wasn’t made up. Any help is appreciated!
