Searching for GGG Grandmother. Supposedly she is named Sarah/Sasah. Some genealogy sites give her last name as Kerouac. Supposedly Sarah/Sasah was born around 1774/1775. Supposedly she married John Tullis and had the following children: (#1) Mary Tullis (Wing) 1808-1872 born around Edgefield District SC, died around Roswell, GA. (#2) John Morris Tullis 1810-1883, born Lincoln Co., GA, died Gwinnett Co., GA. (#3) Simpson Tullis 1812-1861, (#4 my gg grandfather) Moses Tullis 1818-1887 born Lincoln Co, Ga died Gwinnett Co, GA and Married Nancy Drummond. (#5) Elizabeth Tullis 1822-1862 born South Carolina died Gwinnett Co., GA and married or was bonded to Prettyman/Prittyman Berry on 25 March 1847 in Gwinnett Co., GA. Mr Berry remarried and relocated to Oklahoma after Elizabeth’s death. The 1850 Census of Gwinnett Co, GA, lists Sarah as living with Elizabeth and Prettyman Berry, she is 74 years old and was born in New York. Supposedly, Sarah died October 1856 and is buried at Hog Mountain Church, Gwinnett Co., GA but her tombstone was destroyed during the Civil War. Looking for information on Sarah, her parents, and proof of her marriage to John Tullis. The Tullis family migrated from Scotland to New Jersey to Virginia to South Carolina to Georgia.
