Thomas Lithfuss Orlefuss Creebeck

June 15, 2021 by rfgrant 5 Comments

Born 1730, died 1820. He married Elizabeth Helton and took her last name. I saw where his mother was listed as Raven Killer but no further information. I think he is my 6th GGfather. I would like to know his father and further ancestors. I am related through Lucinda (Lucy) Helton, their child, who married John William (Long John) Mabe, bn 1758 in VA, died 1843 in NC.

Thomas was also my 6th great grandfather I am related through his son Abraham Helton. What I have found on Family Search is that Elizabeth Helton’s father’s name was Brenham Creebeck Helton. I thought the common name of Creebeck was curious. I would also like to know more about the next generation prior to Thomas.

Hi I am a descendant through the Mabe family. I believe Thomas and Bettie would be my 10th great grandparents. Their daughter Lucinda married John Mabe who is on my paternal grandfather’s side. I would love to see any pictures anyone may have or any other info they could share.
