Sophronia Louisa Thompson 1801-1857

I’m trying to find the relation of Cherokee in my ancestry. From an article I have read, my 3rd great grandmother, Sophronia Louisa Thompson was given to James and Martha Thompson as a little girl. She was born in Iredell County, NC and died in 1857 in Williamson, TX; I’m assuming she was on the Trail of Tears. Sophronia has several children: Louisa Caroline Adams, Mary Adeline Adams, Miranda Adeline Adams, James Wiley Adams, Greenberry Adams, Minerva Adams & a couple more. On the Dawes Rolls, I think I have found Louisa Caroline, Mary and Miranda. I am looking for some kind of proof that Sophronia was indeed apart of a tribe, etc. please help.
