Mahalia married my 2nd great grandfather, Robert Austin – Birth Nov 1811 • Ashe County, North Carolina, he died in Princess, Boyd County, Kentucky, 1879. Her parents were Charles C. Baker, a Cherokee Chief (?) & Ann E Pitts – both died on Trail of Tears (?).
