My great-grandmother was full Cherokee Indian. The name she married my great-grandfather by was Sallie Porter. She was Sallie Porter Causby and lived to be 104 years old. My grandfather was born in Cleveland County, North Carolina and bore eight children. I am looking for any records of my Cherokee heritage. Thank you.
