I am looking for information on my greatX4 grandmother Nancy Litteral or Nancy Hastings Litteral or Nancy Hastings I have seen her name written all three ways. My grandfather told me she was full Cherokee. She married Peter Rowland and they lived in the Lee County VA area. They had Mitchell/Micheal Rowland who had George Powatan Rowland who was my grandfather’s grandfather. Nancy and Peter raised George and his brother which makes me think that she truly was full Cherokee. I can not find any information on her or who her family was, any help would be appreciated.
