I am currently attempting to locate my great grandmothers Cherokee family. We are not sure if she or her father signed the Dawes Roll or not. She was given the English name Francis Elizabeth Mcreelis. She was married and raised her children in north Alabama. She bore my grandfather Dred Pace Christopher who was her seventh son, I am not sure of exact dates but I know she was born in the late 19th century. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate the assistance.
