My Grandfather was Rae Mayberry, I have always heard he was half Cherokee. He was from Kennett MO. Does anyone have any idea if that is even a Cherokee name? I am not sure of my grandmother’s origin. My Mom then would have been 1/4 and me 1/8th, right?
