I am looking for my great great grandmother. All I have found is that she was Cherokee, walked the Trial of Tears and fell in love with a soldier.
My great grandmother was Margaret (Margurite, Maggie) Terrell. Her death certificate shows her father as William Terrell, although I have found other information his name was James Terrell. Mother is shown as “unknown”.
Grasping at straws here.
