Looking for Cherokee descendants by the name Cherry

I am trying to find out about my Father’s Mother, Dora Cherry Moss, who we were told were full blood Cherokee Indian and were part of the ones ran out of Oklahoma. All I know is that her fathers name was Ed Cherry. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
