My grandmother Lucy Hoggett was born in IL, childhood in MO. Her parents were Phillip Hoggett and Elizabeth Ghormely (Ghormerly was her previous married name. The parents were both born in IN. Great, great grandfather on mom’s side is George Robert Guess (Gist, Guest). This family comes from NC to TN and migrated to Caldwell CO, KY. They are reported to be related to Sequoyah (George Robert Guess) or his father. Any information is appreciated.
