I have traced my family tree back to 1796, Jacob Fast. Born in Rochingham Co, VA in 1796. Married Catherine Springer and migrated to Ohio approximately in 1840. I have been told they were Cherokee Indian but can’t find their names on any of the rolls. I wasn’t to concerned because I have read they weren’t to accurate and they migrated to Ohio before a lot of the rolls were generated. Does anyone have any information about the “Fast” or “Springer” family.
