Dianna Whitesell

November 13, 2014 by judywdsn 2 Comments

Looking to find out about G Grandmother. Married to Samuel Walton. Supposedly related to Mary Whitesell. I can find Mary on the rolls but not Dianna. Rumors are that Mary was her Grandmother She was supposedly B.1834-35 in Indiana. Would appreciate Any info to prove she was part Cherokee.

I do research on my line of Whitesells. Tonight I was looking at the 1850 United State Census for Indiana and came across a “Mary A. Whitesell” who was 88 in 1850. There was a “Diannah Whitesell” (much younger) listed on the census. You might want to check out the record. I found it by searching for “Mary A. Whitesell” born about 1762 on Ancestry.com. I hope this is helpful.
