Cobble

June 2, 2019 by jeremycobble Leave a Comment

Im part of the Cobble family unfortunately we are not registered as native americans but have the features of native americans my grandfather and his siblings attended tribal festivities here in oklahoma we have a few pics of him wearing a chiefs headdress. And lots of stories of outrunning the law to avoid being captured and forced into the reservation. But since the family covered their tracks so well there is no paper trail of the families native american heritage. I too was born in eastern oklahoma near my grandfathers stomping grounds of stonewall, oklahoma. I now reside in western oklahoma taking care of my elderly family. I have an ancestry account with a tree but the puzzle is difficult to trace showing my families lineage. I have found a tie in to the francis swallow/hammock family but the info i need to tie in is blocked. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
