A lady name Missouri

September 30, 2015 by belindablu28 3 Comments

Hello I’m looking into more information on my great great great grandmother Missouri Patterson, who was half black and Indian, (I don’t know if this is her married or maiden) and from what I know she was born in Alabama, live there for years and then moved to Troup County, Ga. She did have two daughters: Rosa Lee(?) and other is my great grandma but don’t know her first name but her possible married name Irwin or Irvine. Also Irwin first daughter only daughter is always called Clyde.

Have you checked the Troup County Georgia Archive Records that are online? There is a cemetery database that is searchable. I typed in the first name Missouri and came up with the following hits.

Cole, Missouri Agnes Partridge 1854-1923 Providence Church 2
Glass, Missouri 1842-1908 Wehadkee Baptist Church 2
Hardy, Ms Missouri 1934-1993 Southview 2
Harris, Mrs Missouri ?-? Ebenezer Baptist Church 1
    Johnson, Missouri R. 1829-1903 Pinewood 1
    Norred, Missouri S. 1860-1936 Providence Church 1
    Phillips, Missourie 0. 1835-1855 Sims 1
Tucker, Missouri ?-? Friendship Baptist Church 1
Tucker, Missouri 1885-1977 Friendship Baptist Church 1
    Whatley, Missourie ?-1852 Whatley 2
    Wilkes, Missouri K. 1830-1841 Wilkes 1

I asked my sister about it and she will look it if any of these is Missouri. Also, she did tell me that Patterson is her married last named. Thanks for the help!
