Looking for related Cherokee with last name Fanning. October 30, 2014 by Cherokee Leave a Comment I have been told by several relatives that we are part Cherokee. Believe through the last name Fanning. Does anyone have any information? Also told family migrated from North Carolina to Tennessee.
