Finding information on my great-grandfather

Trying to find information on David Hood. He lived in Oklahoma. My grandmother, Ida Kelley was his daughter.

    According to his WW I draft card registration, he was born June 1, 1875. One leg shorter than the other, farmer, lived in Checotah Okla. closet relative, Rebecca Hill, ( Mother).
    he died 1951. ( Find a Grave site ). Greenlawn Cem., Checota Okla,. Mcintosh County.
    married Malinda Myers Oct. 25, 1897. Later divorced. Applied for Cherokee Rolls Sept. 1, 1900. Tom Burk

      My understanding is his wife’s name was Mary. He was also called Kiowara or Kiowana. My grandmother was his daughter she was born December, 1905. All I now have is memories as documents were destroyed in a house fire.

    David Jr. was a Cherokee citizen through his father. His mother was a White woman. David Hood Sr. appears to have been born about 1812, although there is variance in his age in different records. He was enumerated on Drennen Roll (group 130, Skin Bayou).
