My gggrandfather was an Indian Chief who was hanged for stealing a horse, so the story goes. He lived in either Tennessee or Kentucky. He married a Cherokee woman by the name of Blue Feather. He lived outside but she lived inside a home owned by the last name Reed. She took that name on.
