I am working on a tree with a 3rd Great grandmother name Delaney Harriis. I have her born about 1808 in North Carolina. She moved to Nevin, Vigo, Indiana somewhere before 1825 as that is when she lived there and was married. The census from 1850 and 1860 in that area have her listed as Mulatto. I know there was a large Native American population in that area that had relocated from NC. I cannot find any of her parents so was wondering if there were any records from say 1808 to 1824 that may list her. Thank you.
