I’m looking for any info on my great grandmother who was a Cherokee. She had a son named William McKinley Watkins. We are not sure if she married Marion Bonaparte Watkins.

Its really hard to find her. My grandma said her grandma Mouervie/Missouri Patterson (married name) is either full or half Cherokee. I’m not completely sure if she was born in Georgia or Alabama. She use to travel between La Grange, Ga and Chambers, Alabama.

She was married to John Poplin in North Carolina and moved to Kentucky where they raised their kids.
