Also, please specify what you'd like to learn from the research. When you submit your request, you will be prompted to complete your purchase, this will reserve research time.

FAQs

How much research do you complete for the money?
I will use the information you provide to try to 1) link your family to the Cherokees using the Cherokee rolls, rejection lists from the rolls, and other helpful Cherokee texts, 2) use primary sources to find additional generations in your family tree, and 3) use secondary sources to uncover other potential leads. If, the information you provide does not provide enough for me to build on, I will contact you for additional details. The time spent performing this research generally takes 8 about hours.

Can I have research performed on more than one branch of my family tree?
Sure, however, these will be separate searches. Let's start with one of your parents and go from there. When you've received your results you'll have the option of having more research performed.

Do you have a number where I can call you to explain my genealogy needs?
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but it's very important that I have the information in writing. It makes it much easier for me to have your text to refer back to for accurate memory, spelling, etc.

What forms of payment do you accept?
You can pay by Visa, Master Card, Discover, Paypal, or check. Simply fill out the form above and make your payment selection on the billing page.

Can I have my results sent by postal mail?
Yes, this requires an additional $10 fee to cover printing and shipping costs. Please note this desire in the "Special Instructions" field on the shopping cart form and I will bill accordingly.

How long will it take to get results?
Currently there is a wait time of between 4-6 weeks, but this can vary depending on my schedule or the volume of requests I have received. If you are concerned about the wait, please contact me to schedule a research appointment.
