Query: My question relates to my grandmother's family. I have very little information and I am curious. My grandmother was born in 1927 or thereabouts in or around Little Rock, Arizona. I believe her birth name was Lillian Bee. Her mother's name was Vine Bee from what I understand and another ancestor of mine was called Ben Bee. My grandmother died in 1993 and had very few records related to her childhood. My grandmother believed herself to be of Cherokee and Black racial background.

Query: I am looking for infomration on my great-great grandparents. According to family lore, either one was Native American. This is the information I have on them: Joseph Malcolm (Malcom) Maddox was born 4-8-1873 (or 1874) in Arkansas. His parents according to census were from Georgia. He married Ina Gale (or Rebecka) Hale who was born on 9-23-1881 in Tiger Town, Texas. Her parents were from Virginia. Together they had Joe "Tab" Maddox, Raymond Maddox, Clyde Maddox and Grace Maddox. Grace is my great great grandmother. She was born in Ardmore Town, Carter Co., Oklahoma on 4-21-1900. She married Quincy Clyde Summers around 1914 and then wound up in Richmond, Texas. ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE WONDERFUL!
