Artist Description: This is the only photo I've posted here that is not directly related to Cherokee culture or history. I found this tree while on a relaxing drive outside of Austin. The contrast between the hard, dark tree trunk and the soft wispy clouds above seem to encompass everything -- light and dark, soft and hard, life and dead.
