Joanne Norman Keith was born in Tulsa OK and raised in Tulsa and Oklahoma city OK. She now lives in Woodward OK.

She is a student of Martha Berry Cherokee Bead Artist and has participated in the Cherokee Beadwork Revival. She is known locally for her outstanding quilts.
